Kevin Merritt is the founder and CEO of Socrata. With more than 1,000 clients around the world, Socrata is a leader in cloud-based open data solutions that help governments achieve meaningful social and economic impact by making data discoverable, usable, and actionable. In addition to guiding its strategic direction and leading Socrata, Kevin serves as an industry advisory to the U.S. Department of Commerce Data Advisory Council and as a board director to the Data Foundation.
